How to Become a Member of IATSE Local 322

IATSE Local 322 is a federally recognized labor union organizing and representing workers in live events production in the Charlotte area. To facilitate this effort, Local 322 has established and administers the IATSE 322 Referral Hall. The workers using this referral hall are both members and non-members of Local 322. All work referred through the Referral Hall is assigned equally without regard to union membership.

The Executive Board of Local 322 leads the local union and administers the Referral Hall. This Board is elected by and is accountable to the membership of Local 322. Local 322 adheres to a legal labor union Constitution and By-Laws, which requires the pursuit of establishing harmonious relations between members of the bargaining unit and employers, to increase the stability of the industry, to promote safe working conditions, training and education, and to improve wages.

Users of the Referral Hall are encouraged to join Local 322 so they may have a voice and vote in our democratic processes, but it is not required.
